In an effort to make viewing the the City of Roswell’s many bond-related projects easier, the city has launched a new, user-friendly project dashboard. This new feature will allow residents to conveniently track the progress of construction projects and their associated costs all in one place.

The dashboard—located at www.RoswellGov.com/Bond—will provide a comprehensive and up-to-date picture of Bond projects that are currently underway in the City. Residents will be able to access detailed information about each project, including the timeline for completion, the budget, and any updates or changes that may occur.

The dashboard is easy to use, with an intuitive interface that allows residents to quickly find the information they need. The information is presented in a clear and concise format, making it easy to understand and interpret.

“We are thrilled to be launching this new dashboard, which we believe will be a great resource for our residents,” said Mayor Kurt Wilson. “We know that these projects are important to our community and the future of our great city. We want to make sure that residents have all the information they need to stay informed about these transformative Bond Program projects.”

The new dashboard is part of the City of Roswell’s commitment to providing transparent and accessible information to its residents. The City hopes this new tool will help residents better understand the work that is being done to improve Roswell through the voter-approved Bond Program.

We want to make sure that residents have all the information they need to stay informed about these transformative Bond Program projects.

About Roswell’s Bond Program

In November 2022, Roswell voters overwhelmingly approved $179.6 million in funding through three Bond Program questions on the ballot: $107.6 million for Recreation, Parks, Bicycle and Pedestrian Paths, and Sidewalks (74% in favor); $52 million for Public Safety (Police & Fire) Capital Projects (73% in favor); and $20 million for a Downtown Public Parking Deck (57% in favor). Bond funds will pay for a wide variety of park improvements, trail and connectivity projects, bike and pedestrian paths and sidewalks, a new Public Safety Headquarters, replacement and/or construction of several fire stations, and a new public parking deck in downtown Roswell.

The City’s first bond issuance of $86.2 million (out of the total $179.6 million) was approved in May 2023 and included $53.1 million to use towards Recreation, Parks, bicycle and pedestrian paths and sidewalks; $13.1 million towards Public Safety (Police and Fire) projects; and $20 million towards the public parking deck. Due to the City’s excellent AAA bond rating, this issuance qualified for the best interest rates the market allows.

A second issuance of additional bond funds is expected in spring/summer of 2025.
