The City of Roswell has entered into a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with Patriot Growth Capital, LLC and ATLVets to explore the creation of a new accelerator facility in Roswell that will cultivate veteran leadership, drive technological innovation, and strengthen the region’s economic future.

    The proposed initiative, known as the Patriot Growth Accelerator, aims to establish a hub in Roswell dedicated to supporting companies and entrepreneurs working in veteran leadership, healthcare, defense, cybersecurity, technology, and education. As envisioned, the accelerator will provide participating businesses with access to workspace, mentorship, investment opportunities, and streamlined support from the City of Roswell to foster growth and innovation. In return, companies will be encouraged to establish or expand their headquarters and workforce presence within the city.

    “Roswell is proud to lead the way in building a future where innovation, service, and opportunity intersect,” said Mayor Kurt Wilson. “Through this partnership, we have the chance to support our veterans in transitioning from service to leadership while positioning Roswell as a strategic hub for advanced industries that shape our nation’s future.”

    As part of the LOI, the parties will work collaboratively to:

    • Attract and support established and emerging companies in dual-use technology, defense, and related sectors;
    • Engage a nationally renowned university to establish a meaningful presence in Roswell to help educate and train the future workforce;
    • Establish a joint management structure for the accelerator program.

    The Patriot Growth Accelerator builds upon Patriot Growth Capital and ATLVets’ vision to create a Veteran Center of Excellence, a launchpad where proven veteran leaders and innovative companies can scale their impact. By locating this initiative in Roswell, the partners are leveraging the Southeast’s unparalleled combination of veteran talent, world-class universities, major defense installations, and leading corporate headquarters.

    The Letter of Intent is non-binding and outlines the framework for good-faith negotiations toward a definitive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), anticipated to be finalized in the coming months. Final approval is contingent upon authorization by the Roswell City Council and the respective boards of Patriot Growth Capital and ATLVets.
