Riverside Park is undergoing a comprehensive renovation as part of the City of Roswell’s River Parks Master Plan. Funded through the voter-approved 2022 Recreation & Parks Bond, this project will modernize infrastructure, enhance public amenities, and strengthen environmental stewardship along the Chattahoochee River.
Located along one of Roswell’s most treasured natural corridors, Riverside Park has long served as a gathering place for families, festivals, concerts, and outdoor recreation. The renovation reflects the City’s commitment to investing in high-quality parks and ensuring that these spaces continue to serve residents and visitors for generations to come.
Project Overview
The Riverside Park renovation focuses on improving park infrastructure, enhancing accessibility, and expanding opportunities for recreation and community programming. Riverside Park is currently closed for construction while the renovation project is underway. The Riverside Sounds concert series, traditionally hosted at the park, will remain on hold during construction.
Construction began in March 2026 following approval of a construction contract by Roswell City Council on December 8, 2025. The park is expected to reopen in Summer 2027 with expanded amenities and improved infrastructure designed to serve the community for generations to come.
