Juneteenth: Our Freedom Exhibit

Kicking off the celebration is a collaboration with African American for the Arts (AAFTA) with ‘Juneteenth: Our Freedom Exhibit’, an artistic reflection of the liberation Juneteenth has afforded African Americans to be artists. The exhibit is a group exhibition featuring the collective works of AAFTA, freely creating in their voices, viewing, reading, exploring, analyzing, and interpreting the world around us and translating their visions artistically in paintings, sculptures, textiles and adornments.
