The City of Roswell is excited to announce that Bill Godshall has joined the City’s executive team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With over three decades of experience in financial leadership, auditing, and advisory services, Godshall brings unparalleled expertise to Roswell.

His extensive experience and proven ability to navigate complex financial landscapes will ensure that Roswell continues to thrive both financially and operationally. Bill’s dedication to excellence and his strategic mindset make him the perfect fit to help guide our City into the future.”
Godshall recently retired as a partner at Frazier & Deeter LLC, where he served from 2005 to 2023 in various leadership roles, including Head of Quality Control for the Assurance Services Group and leader of the Public Company Audit Practice. He also co-chaired the firm’s Manufacturing and Distribution Industry Group. Prior to his tenure at Frazier & Deeter, Godshall held key positions at the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), Deloitte, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in audit practices, accounting advisory services, and oversight in diverse industries, including energy, utilities, manufacturing, and technology.

Godshall holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of New Orleans and graduated with distinction from the Harvard Business Analytics Program. Throughout his career, he has advised public and private organizations on complex financial transactions, IPO readiness, and governance enhancements, always emphasizing integrity and forward-thinking solutions. The City of Roswell is confident that Godshall’s appointment will further strengthen its commitment to financial transparency, accountability, and innovation.
