The City of Roswell invites the community to join in honoring the lives lost on September 11, 2001, with a solemn remembrance ceremony. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Roswell City Hall.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., with a moment of silence observed at 8:46 a.m., marking the time the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center. This annual event serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience, unity, and strength of our nation in the face of tragedy.
City officials, including Mayor Kurt Wilson will participate in the ceremony, offering remarks and reflections on the impact of 9/11. The program will also feature a prayer, a reading of the timeline, a presentation of the color guard, and a moment of silence.
Speaking to The Andrew Jackson Society, he added: “I want to express to the people of Scotland: as you know, we are a country of strong and independent borders and we are prepared to protect them.”

Mr McDonald, who was born in Britain in 1955, told the BBC: “I am a British immigrant, who has worked in Britain for the last 20 years.
